About Me
Faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains — Matthew 17:20

Anna Orzałkiewicz, MSc
Psychologist, SFBT Therapist
Passionate about positive psychology, neuropsychology, and psychoeducation. Creator of the Gratitude Training tool, designed to increase optimism in adults and developed as part of my master’s thesis: “The Impact of Gratitude Training on Optimism in Adults.”
Experience
I completed a five-year integrated master’s degree in Psychology, specialising in Clinical Psychology, at the TWP University of Applied Sciences in Szczecin.
As part of my studies, I completed an internship at the “ZAWSZE Z NADZIEJĄ” Association for People with Cancer and Their Families. During this time, I became familiar with the principles of Simonton Therapy, an approach supporting people affected by cancer. I also coordinated and co-developed mental health promotion and prevention projects for Szczecin residents, co-funded by the City of Szczecin.
As part of the project “Zacumuj zdrowie w głowie – Szczeciński PORTal Psychoedukacyjny” (“Anchor Your Mental Health – Szczecin Psychoeducational Portal”), I wrote psychoeducational articles for the project’s website. Another initiative, “Kryzys – szansą na zmiany” (“Crisis as an Opportunity for Change”), gave me valuable experience in developing psychoeducational and mental health prevention workshop programmes, as well as co-facilitating sessions for Szczecin residents.
Continuous professional development and acquiring new skills are very important to me. In 2024, I completed two training courses in therapeutic techniques.
The “ABC of Emotions – Rational Behaviour Therapy” course, delivered by the Rational Behaviour Therapy Centre, introduced me to practical tools for working with clients’ beliefs and emotions.
I also completed the in-person foundation-level course “Solution-Focused Brief Therapy”, delivered by trainers from the Centre for Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (CTSR). This training further strengthened my belief that every person seeking support should be approached individually, with consideration for their unique needs and circumstances. It also reinforced the importance of avoiding labels that may hinder the process of change.
